- Work within the NIHR-funded BRIDGE study and with its team of co-applicants and collaborators
- Support delivery of the NIHR-funded D-STRESS cluster randomised trial
- Develop statistical analysis plans and related statistical code
- Contribute to methodological work around cluster randomised trials
- Contribute to generating academic publications, and reports
- Contribute to public understanding of virtual wards, COPD, implementation research, and inequalities
- Develop and execute statistical analysis plans and related materials, including code, for cluster randomised trials
- Deliver data analyses and support writing of research outputs for academic and lay audiences
- Disseminate research findings for publication, including research seminars and conferences
- Contribute to developing and evaluating new models, techniques and methods
- Provide guidance as required to support staff and any students who may be assisting with research
- Deal with problems that may affect the achievement of research objectives and deadlines
- Carry out administrative tasks related directly to the delivery of the research
- Promotes equality and values diversity acting as a role model and fostering an inclusive working culture
- BSc (Hons)/Masters level in a relevant field, including statistics, mathematics, computer science, epidemiology
- Strong mathematical and quantitative skills
- Familiarity or experience with data analysis methods (e.g. use of Stata, R, Python, or Stata)
- Ability to analyse information and communicate effectively
- Ability to access and organise resources successfully
- Knowledge of the protected characteristics of the Equality Act 2010, and how to actively ensure in day to day activity in own area that those with protected characteristics are treated equally and fairly
