- Providing direct support to children with autism
- Helping children manage behaviours and develop their social and learning skills
- Monitor and discuss collaboratively children's behaviour support plans with the help of other SEN staff
- Observe and record children's behaviour
- Create an inclusive learning environment to help children succeed.
- Experience working with children with autism or an SEN school is preferred
- Level 2 Safeguarding qualification (or a willingness to complete upon appointment)
- Patience, empathy, strong communication
- Kind, compassionate and a caring individual
- Ability to follow guidance and help from SEN specialists
