Job DescriptionRed Hat Engineer12-month Contract RoleRemote Working£500 - £575, Inside IR35ECS Resource group are currently working with a World's Leading Technology Organisation who are looking for a Red Hat Engineer where you will play a key role in driving automation across the clients Red Hat estate.As a Red Hat Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Lead and support the upgrade of Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems from versions 4, 5, and 6 to the latest supported releases.
Assess existing legacy systems and develop structured upgrade and migration plans to minimize risk and downtime.
Automate system deployment, configuration, and upgrade processes using tools such as Ansible, Bash, or Python.
Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions to reduce manual tasks and improve efficiency across the Linux estate.

Please note, the below requirements are essential and candidates without this will not be considered:

Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
10+ years working as a Red Hat Engineer/Linux Engineer
Proven experience working on Red Hat upgrades
