Are you an outstanding Economics or Business Studies Teacher with a passion for shaping future leaders? A School in Redbridge is recruiting for a full-time, permanent teacher to join their vibrant Business and Economics faculty from September 2025. A TLR (Teaching and Learning Responsibility) is available for candidates ready to lead the Economics curriculum.This role is ideal for a teacher with the energy and vision to deliver consistently high-quality lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5, and support sixth form students in preparing for university and beyond.   • Contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment opportunities
  • Lead the Economics curriculum with strategic oversight (TLR available)
  • Deliver engaging and structured lessons in Economics and Business Studies
  • Support sixth form progression routes into higher education and work
  • Foster a classroom culture of high expectations and independent thinking
  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a high-achieving department
Qualifications and Experience
  • Strong subject knowledge in Economics and Business Studies
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching KS4 and KS5 preferred
  • Ability to lead curriculum development (desirable)
  • A track record of strong outcomes and student engagement
  • Excellent organisation, communication, and team-working skills
  • A commitment to professional growth and student success
