Become part of our team and develop Motel One with us.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a motivated and versatile Breakfast and Bar Assistant to join our team. This is not a typical waiter/waitress role—our assistant performs a variety of all-round duties, including food preparation, buffet management, kitchen porter tasks, table clearance and cleaning, hosting guests, and supporting bar service. Flexibility and a willingness to cover all these areas are essential.Key Responsibilities:Prepare breakfast items, including baking bakery products and warm food daily for the buffet in the ovenRefill the buffet according to daily demandAssist with kitchen porter duties including cleaning and dishwashingClear and clean tables promptly to maintain a tidy dining areaProvide excellent hosting skills by greeting and assisting customers warmlyHandle cash and credit card payments accurately and efficientlySupport bar service including preparing drinks and maintaining cleanlinessOpen and close shifts according to operational proceduresAssist with inventory management and restocking as neededMaintain hygiene and safety standards throughout your shiftQualificationsLevel 2 Food Hygiene and Safety Certification preferredPrevious experience in food service or hospitality preferredStrong multitasking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and customer service skillsReliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekendsBasic cash handling and payment processing experienceA positive attitude and team-oriented mindsetAdditional InformationSalary range £28,000 - £30,000Travel allowance available after probation periodGreat development opportunities and trainings sessions on abroadGuaranteed and attractive employee rates for the travel lovers!Staff parties and reward celebrations for the Team Players
