Optical Assistant - Independent Practice
Location: Chiswick, London
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Full-Time | 9:30am - 5:00pm | No Late NightsMy client is a well-established, independent optical practice in the heart of Chiswick, known for offering exceptional patient care and a premium eyewear experience.
We are currently looking for a friendly, confident, and experienced Optical Assistant to join our close-knit team. If you're passionate about optics, love helping patients, and enjoy working with luxury eyewear - we want to hear from you!Your Role Will Involve:
  • Welcoming patients and providing excellent front-of-house service
  • Assisting with frame styling and advising on lens options
  • Managing appointments and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
  • Helping with pre-screening tests (training provided if required)
  • Ensuring a clean, professional, and welcoming practice environment
  • Supporting the dispensing process with high attention to detail
What We're Looking For:
  • Previous experience in an optical assistant role (independent experience a bonus)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • A passion for eyewear, fashion, and delivering a premium service
  • Reliable, professional, and well-organised
  • Someone who enjoys being part of a small, supportive team
  • Confident working with high-value products
