As part of a Legal 500 ranked team, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals in a firm recognised for its excellence across a number of practice areas.The firm is looking to expand its Dispute Resolution team through the strategic hire of a Contentious Probate Solicitor.The Role:
You will take responsibility for a varied caseload of contentious probate matters, including disputed wills, inheritance claims and estate-related litigation. This is a key role offering scope to play an integral part in the team’s long-term development.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and progress a range of contentious probate cases from inception to resolution
- Advise clients on inheritance disputes, contested wills and estate administration issues
- Collaborate with senior team members on departmental growth and strategic initiatives
- Participate in business development and contribute to the firm’s strong client relationships
- Maintain high standards of compliance and client care
- Qualified solicitor (NQ+), with experience in contentious probate or litigation
- Solid understanding of probate law and civil procedure rules
- Ideally, some background in commercial or property litigation
- Strong communication, drafting and negotiation skills
- Commercial awareness and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
