
Warehouse Operator

- Safely offload and put away raw materials to maximise efficiency and minimise damage.
- Pick and deliver raw materials and packaging to meet the production schedule, maintaining high quality standards.
- Collect and put away finished products.
- Safely and accurately operate the Forklift trucks and palletisers. (60-70% of your time will involve using this equipment)
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment by following company policies and acting as a role model for safety practices.
- Ensure on time delivery of the dispatch plan as set out by the Plant Transport Coordinators, achieving OTIF (On time in full) targets.
- Conduct cycle-counts to maintain pick-accuracy and minimise production risks.
- Support a ‘World Class’ 5S environment, helping maintain exceptional warehouse organisation.
- Numeracy and Literacy with GCSE in Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a Warehouse environment, ideally in the Chemical sector.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management systems (e.g. SAP).
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Forklift truck License (Counterbalance, Reach, VNA) or the capacity to learn.
