Job Description:As a Pre-Sales Solution Executive at DXC Technology, you will be the visionary behind our most complex and transformative application solutions. Acting as the “Storyteller”, you will craft compelling, end-to-end digital solutions that span business strategy, technology architecture, implementation methods, and commercial models. You’ll work at the intersection of client ambition and DXC capability—translating business needs into innovative, scalable, and commercially viable solutions.You will lead the solutioning process across Agile Application Development, DevOps, Cloud-native architectures, and Microservices, influencing both technical and business stakeholders. Your work will directly shape DXC’s success in winning strategic deals and delivering long-term value to our clients.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end solution design across applications and digital technologies, aligning with client business goals and DXC’s strategic offerings.
  • Shape deals by validating solution fit, assessing risks, and influencing commercial and financial models.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Delivery, Partners, and Clients to co-create solutions that are technically sound and business-aligned.
  • Develop compelling value propositions that resonate with CxOs and business leaders, clearly articulating the “how”, “why”, and “so what”.
  • Create solution collateral including architecture diagrams, business cases, presentations, and proof-of-concepts.
  • Influence client decision-making by demonstrating DXC’s differentiation, win themes, and delivery excellence.
  • Support opportunity qualification and go/no-go decisions by evaluating solution readiness and competitive positioning.
  • Mentor and lead solution teams, fostering a high-performance, trust-based culture.
Technical & Business Expertise
  • Deep understanding of Digital Development Services, Agile, DevOps, and Cloud-native applications.
  • Proven experience designing solutions using:
  • Java EE, Spring Framework
  • Single Page Application frameworks
  • Microservices, Docker, Design Patterns
  • SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Strong grasp of software development lifecycles (Agile, Waterfall, DevOps) and experience across full release cycles.
  • Ability to map complex business problems to technical solutions and delivery models.
  • Awareness of disruptive technology trends and their impact on client industries.
What You Bring
  • Experience leading large-scale IT transformation or consulting projects.
  • Outstanding communication skills—able to simplify complexity for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • First-class influencing skills and a reputation as a trusted advisor.
  • Ability to present to CxOs, engage with business managers, and lead solution strategy discussions.
  • Experience working in ambiguous, outsourced environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of commercial frameworks, risk mitigation, and business case alignment.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Microservices architecture patterns.
  • Familiarity with Agile at scale, DevSecOps, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exposure to Digital Experience Platforms, API-led integration, and event-driven architectures.
