This is an excellent opportunity to build experience working with children who may have SEND needs such as autism, ADHD, or social, emotional, and mental health challenges.Whether you’re aiming to become an educational psychologist, teacher, or therapist, this role offers valuable insight into how schools support children's development and wellbeing.The Role:
- Support individual pupils or small groups, particularly those with additional learning or behavioural needs.
- Work closely with teaching staff to implement support strategies.
- Help create an inclusive, encouraging learning environment.
- Support children’s emotional regulation and social development.
- Free and discounted access to specialist training including Thrive and Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Ongoing support from experienced education consultants.
- Flexible September 2025 start dates.
- A great pathway into roles in education, psychology, and SEN support.
- A degree in Psychology (or a closely related subject).
- DBS on the update service (Or willingness to obtain one).
- A calm, patient and understanding approach.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Any experience with children or young people is a bonus, though not essential.
