- Own the financial narrative for the Cumbernauld site, transforming data from month-end close, reports, and forecasts into clear, actionable insights for the leadership team.
- Co-create the annual budget, collaborating with the site leadership team to build a financial plan that is not only robust and transparent but also inspires the team to achieve exceptional results.
- Act as an internal consultant, leading deep-dive analysis on operational challenges and opportunities to guide the site toward its financial targets.
- Be the financial engine behind our Continuous Improvement culture. You will proactively identify, challenge, and quantify opportunities in Manufacturing and Warehousing, ensuring initiatives deliver real financial value.
- Guide strategic investment decisions by providing rigorous financial challenge and analysis for CAPEX projects. You'll own the financial appraisal from concept to post-completion review to ensure we invest wisely and realise the promised returns.
- Lead rock solid financial controls within the Cumbernauld Supply Chain Team
- Ensure the culture of robust financial control within the Cumbernauld Supply Chain team is maintained, acting as the go-to expert for best practices.
- Ensure flawless financial integrity, taking ultimate responsibility for the accuracy and timeliness of all accounting and control activities across the site's P&L and Balance Sheet.
- A CIMA/ACCA/ICAS qualification or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years PQE
- Ability to adhere to deadlines and adopt a challenging approach to deliver robust, accurate financial data and information to meet business needs
- Strong leadership, collaboration and business partnering skills, especially in cross-functional contexts
- Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and transfer into meaningful financial information for use in business decision making
- Previous experience of an operational environment would be preferential, with substantial relevant management reporting experience as necessary.
