- At least 2 years’ industry experience in either the Anti-Vibration or Rubber Industry
- A full UK driving licence
- Strong negotiation skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Familiarity with measurement equipment (e.g., verniers) — training can be provided
- Ability to carry out both technical and commercial discussions
- Enthusiastic and driven, with a strong desire to generate sales
- Confident, personable, and able to work under pressure
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Able to represent the company in a professional manner
- Excellent communication skills
- Good business acumen
- Prospecting, cold calling, and generating new business sales
- Arranging and conducting customer visits
- Organising your own diary and managing your time effectively
- Representing the company professionally during meetings and presentations
- Regular overnight stays (including international travel when required)
- Participating in exhibitions where applicable
- Reporting to and receiving direction from the Sales Director
- Potentially working from home, depending on geographic location, with technical support from the Leicester site
