  • Supervising and managing classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Implementing pre-prepared lesson plans and ensuring student engagement
  • Managing student behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Providing support to students in their learning and understanding of the subject matter
  • Assisting with administrative tasks related to the classroom
Required Qualifications:Minimum of A-levels or equivalent qualificationEducation:Graduate degree in any disciplineExperience:Previous experience working with children or young adults is desirableKnowledge and Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage classroom dynamics and student behaviour effectively
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of educational principles and practises
Preferred Qualifications:Teaching Assistant qualifications or relevant experienceWorking Conditions:This role involves working in a school environment, following the school's timetable and policies. The Cover Supervisor may need to adapt to different classroom settings and student needs on a daily basis.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
