The starting salary is up to £60,000 start with a competitive package once probation has been hitEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Full responsibility for all aspects of QMS and compliance to customer, industry and regulatory requirements ISO9001, ISO14001.
  • Responsible for managing H&S across the business, ensuring compliance at both sites.
  • Responsible for devising and establishing the company's quality procedures, standards, and specifications.
  • Use initiative and judgement to ensure and assure continued compliance to customer requirements.
  • Lead the development and implementation of short-, medium-and long-term objectives with respect to product assurance and quality.
  • Develop a 'zero defect' mindset to the manufacturing processes.
  • Continually look to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Reviewing and introduce key quality performance measures to capture relevant data to produce statistical reports, present these results at board level as required.
  • Driving a 'right first time' programme across the facility that ensures improvement across all processes.
  • Making suggestions for change and improvements and how to implement them.
  • Using relevant quality tools and making sure managers and other staff understand how to improve processes.
  • Leading on quality-based training & development.
  • Managing & developing the quality team.
  • Full support of the group compliance and sustainability reporting and initiatives.
  • Reviewing current supply chain and implementation/ monitoring of supply chain audit.
  • Ensuring health and safety standards are met and followed.
  • Following and adhering to Company policy and procedure.
Experience and Skills:Proven experience ensuring compliance with UK legislation
  • Previous experience and ownership ISO9001/ISO14001
  • Previous experience of working at senior management level, ideally across multiple sites.
  • Knowledge and experience of quality tools and process improvement.
  • Several years' experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 3 years' people management experience
  • Ability to design and implement efficient processes
  • Change Management experience.
  • Experience of coaching and employee development
  • Degree qualified or similar.
  • Relevant Quality Management qualifications
  • Relevant H&S qualifications (NEBOSH
