This role will require support for a shift pattern.Key duties include;
  • Support for equipment calibration and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Performing electronic assembly of circuit boards and wiring harnesses.
  • First line support for production test equipment breakdowns (.
  • Update test documentation in line with company processes.
  • Develop test programs for cable assemblies.
About YouThe ideal candidate will be qualified to HNC (or equivalent) in Electronics Engineering and ideally have previous experience of maintaining test equipment within a manufacturing/production environment.Other desirable attributes include;
  • Knowledge and experience of electronic systems/pcbas/components.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Ability to use standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters and power supplies.
  • Ideally have experience in debugging automated test equipment hardware
  • Basic understanding of computer architecture and hardware.
  • Through hole and surface mount soldering experience, ideally J-std trained
  • Attention to detail, methodical approach
  • Experience of Microsoft Office tools – MS Word, Excel etc.
