Contract: Part-Time, Term Time OnlyA welcoming and well-established nursery in Henley-on-Thames is currently seeking a qualified Nursery Assistant to join their friendly team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years education and enjoys supporting young children in their learning and development.Responsibilities for the Nursery Assistant:
- Support children's learning through play and planned activities
- Establish a safe yet explorative and creative nursery environment
- Work closely with other staff to follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Build and maintain meaningful relationships with team members, children and their guardians
- Assist with feeding and general care routines
- A recognised childcare qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years or equivalent)
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting, with references
- A passionate and caring approach
- To work collaboratively with the rest of EYFS team
