
Lead Community Manager - Runescape

- Own the community strategy and vision for RuneScape 3.
- Act as a key voice on the RuneScape Leadership Team, advocating for players and contributing to the game's direction and content roadmap.
- Build and lead clear processes for involving players in development decisions, both pre- and post-release.
- Establish regular, high-impact community touchpoints through livestreams, videos, social engagement, and more.
- Lead community health reporting and risk analysis, using both data tools and team insights.
- Manage and mentor two Community Managers, helping them to grow their capabilities and leadership potential.
- Work closely with Social Media Management & Marketing to support GTM campaigns, guide messaging and extend the reach of our player engagement touchpoints.
- Own budgets for Community Management teams and procurement of Creator Commissions
- Represent the RuneScape brand across a variety of formats including written, video, livestream, and live events.
- Become and/or maintain a deep expertise of the game as an active player.
- Experience managing large-scale live service gaming communities.
- Proven experience of communicating with and achieving impact with Leadership teams.
- Strong experience building and owning community strategies and campaigns with measurable impact.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience representing a major brand or title, including regular dialogue with the community.
- Understanding and experience of game development workflows and processes.
- Proven ability to report, translate and qualify community dialogue.
- Management or direct mentorship experience of other community managers.
- A strong grasp of gaming culture, community psychology, and live game dynamics.
