- Responding to client inquiries regarding residential property transactions and providing timely updates.
- Opening and closing client files in adherence to the firm’s anti-money laundering policies and SRA regulations.
- Conducting general administrative tasks to support the Residential Property team.
- Preparing and submitting quotes to clients, as well as drafting completion statements.
- Reviewing mortgage offers and producing reports with appropriate supervision.
- Conducting online searches and due diligence as part of the transaction process.
- Utilising the Land Registry portal for document submissions and responding to requisitions.
- Calculating Stamp Duty Land Tax and processing relevant applications.
- Assisting fee earners with preparing bills, receipts, and other financial documentation.
- Occasionally covering reception duties as needed.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle various tasks effectively under pressure.
- Meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of work, particularly in documentation.
- Previous experience in a legal or residential property setting is beneficial but not essential.
