- Leading the charge on engineering strategy and continuous improvement.
- Driving the shift from reactive to reliability-centred maintenance.
- Championing autonomous maintenance and empowering operations teams - be instrumental in developing and upskilling the operations teams in order to transfer tasks from Engineering to Operations (e.g. changeovers, first line maintenance)
- Delivering capital projects, optimising performance, and driving KPIs.
- Plan, agree and monitor engineering expenditure to deliver targeted levels of operational performance cost effectively.
- Creating a culture of safety, quality, and innovation.
- Be a key player within our senior team, collaborating with Operations, Technical, NPD, H&S, HR, and more.
- Lead the development of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and the engineering stores system.
- Manage and coach two Engineering Supervisors who lead a team of multi-skilled shift engineers and our Reliability & Compliance Manager who leads a Scheduler & Stock Controller.
- Initiate, agree and review the engineering team development (including apprentices), succession, training and development plans to ensure an appropriate mix of skills to deliver the engineering team performance at optimum cost.
- Engineering qualifications (mechanical/electrical).
- FMCG experience with a proven track record in team leadership.
- CMMS knowldge and capital project delivery know-how.
- IOSH or equivalent H&S qualification.

- Experience setting up CMMS systems.
- Salary up to £68,000 per annum.
- Annual bonus plan up to 10% of salary per year (subject to criteria).
