Vehicle Technician Required in Peacehaven, East Sussex
  • Basic Salary up to £40,000

  • Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:30 - 1 Hour lunch & 20 Min paid morning break.

Our client is a well-known family run independent garage operating within the Peacehaven area for over 30 years, they are well respected across Brighton, Eastbourne, Saltdean & East Sussex, undertaking the repair of all makes and models of vehicles from the latest vehicles to classic cars.Our client has a strong reputation within the market and great reputation within the Peacehaven and Saltdean area. They have a successful service operation, with bookings almost in 3 weeks in advance and are currently seeking Vehicle Technician to add to their team.They are currently seeking experience Vehicle Technicians and time served mechanics who are capable with repairing Cambelts, Clutches, Diagnostics alongside some day-to-day Service & Repair work. Duties of a Vehicle Technician with our Client:
  • Carrying out routine vehicle servicing and maintenance of vehicles.
  • Diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults efficiently and accurately.
  • Conducting vehicle inspections and test drives to assess performance.
  • Carrying out complex vehicle repairs as required, such as electrics and engine building.
  • Using Launch diagnostic equipment and tools effectively.
  • Undertake MOT Testing if applicable.
  • Completing service records and documentation accurately.
  • Adhering to health and safety guidelines and company procedures.
  • Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional image.
What our client expects of their Vehicle Technicians:
  • Minimum qualification of City and Guilds AVCE, NVQ level 3 or experience in similar role
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • You Must have your own toolkit sufficient to enough to carry out vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a workshop environment
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of modern vehicle systems and technologies
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full UK driving license.
  • The Right to live & work within the UK.
