A diverse and inclusive environment is the key to our sustainable, long-term success.Discover our culture and approach here:Would you like to be one of our new enablers?Job Description Summary: The Partnership brings together BlueFloat Energy and Renantis with the aim of contributing to a world leading floating offshore wind industry in the UK, combining innovative technology with a plan to attract and grow a skilled Scottish workforce and stimulate a thriving local supply chain.We have two floating wind sites in Scotland – Broadshore north of Fraserburgh and Bellrock east of Aberdeen, as well as the majority stake in the consortium with Ørsted to develop the Stromar project east of Wick.We also secured bid success in the recent INTOG leasing round with two innovation projects, Sinclair & Scaraben, which lie adjacent to Broadshore.In the Celtic Sea, we are developing two floating offshore wind projects, Llywelyn and Petroc located in Welsh and English waters, which could make a significant contribution to helping the UK achieve its 5GW target for floating offshore wind by 2030.To strenghten our Team we are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Lead.
The Quality Assurance Lead will create and implement the company’s quality management systems to ensure the project is delivered to the quality standards demanded by industry, the company and the project partners leading to reduced costs, delays, and variations in the project plan. Reporting to the Head of QHSE, this portfolio role will support the project teams in relation to quality and will manage equipment supplier's quality control elements. The Quality Assurance Manager will have previous experience in the quality field and have worked in engineering or construction projects. The successful candidate will lead on offshore wind projects across the UK and Italy.Job Description:Key Responsibilities:Drive the adoption of the project’s Quality Management system;Supporting the people involved in the offshore project for quality issues;Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures;Identifying relevant quality-related training needs and delivering training;Identifying improvement opportunities across the partnership to enable efficient project delivery;Assisting with or preparing Project Quality Plan standards for office and site activities;Setting QA compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved;Formulating and managing the development and implementation of procedures, guides and inspection test programs pertaining to quality assurance and quality control;Developing tools, procedures, guides, inspection test programs and specifications regarding quality in all the stages of offshore wind projects working with the technical departments;Managing supplier's quality control and support the project with advice, support, monitoring and improvements;Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary;Implementing, maintaining and improving internal assurance to maintain management systems to ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 equivalence.Key Requirements:Previous experience in engineering and/or construction projects;Experience in quality assurance and quality control; knowledge of LEAN methodologies and process mapping;Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);Excellent English language skills.Pay and benefitsWith a genuine culture of reward and recognition, we want our employees to grow, develop and be part of our journey.
