£20 - £24 per hourTime Recruitment Solutions are is seeking a skilled and experienced Joiner to join a dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to maintaining and improving the school environment.About the roleYou will be responsible for a range of general joinery and carpentry duties across the school premises. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Repairs and maintenance: addressing various joinery needs, from fixing doors and windows to repairing furniture and fixtures.
- Installations: installing new carpentry elements, such as shelves, cabinets, and partitions.
- General upkeep: ensuring the school's woodwork is in good condition.
- Working closely with the Facilities Team: collaborating to prioritize tasks and ensure a safe and functional environment for students and staff.
- Proven experience: Demonstrated ability in various joinery and carpentry tasks.
- Relevant qualifications: Ideally, holding appropriate qualifications in carpentry and joinery (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent).
- Safety conscious: A commitment to safe working practices and adherence to relevant regulations.
- Strong work ethic: The ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills: Being able to communicate clearly with colleagues and school staff.
