- Maintain and prepare existing tooling to ensure optimal performance and production readiness.
- Identify and resolve tooling issues effectively, implementing corrective actions as required.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on production tooling, adhering to strict schedules and standards.
- Fabricate, fit, and assemble parts using a variety of equipment such as milling machines, lathes, and surface grinders.
- Verify and test tools for proper operation, ensuring they meet exact specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to gather feedback and continuously improve tooling processes.
- Level 3 qualified in mechanical or relevant area
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Hands-on experience with Tool room equipment, including overhead cranes and inspection tools.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks.
- A proven track record in a manufacturing environment, demonstrating your ability to deliver results.
- Very good salary of over £44,000
- Good working hours – 37.5 hours per week double days
