Your main responsibility will be to ensure all kitchen cleanliness and assist with general food preparation. We have a dedicated brigade of kitchen porter's so we are seeking people with excellent, hard-working attitudes.Galgorm Collection always offers internal opportunities for our employees so our kitchen porters often progress onto kitchen assistants. If you have an interest in the catering industry and want to join an award-winning company then we look forward to hearing from you!About the roleJob Description:The main duties of this role include but are not limited to:Washing dishes, pots, and the provision of the required equipment in the kitchen.Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and dishwashing areas including walls, fridges, floors, racks, and anything else required by the chefs.Assisting chefs with basic food preparation.Following all Company and Statutory Fire, Health, Safety, and Hygiene Regulations.Responsibility for the security and safe handling of all equipment used.Carrying out any other duties set by Senior Chefs in the kitchen.The Person:Applicants Criteria:Must be able to use their own initiative and be able to work well under pressure.Be an excellent team player.Have a flexible approach to working shift patterns and be available to work days, evenings, and weekends.Have the ability to communicate well with other team members.Desirable:Have previous experience working in a kitchen.Perks of the job!!We're passionate about service, our guests, and, of course, our people.
