- For Grade E: Educated to first degree level or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, Management Science (especially Operations and Analytics), or a closely related field of study.
- For Grade F: PhD in management science (especially Operations and Analytics), Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) with ability to communicate complex and conceptual ideas to a range of people.
- Strong software development skills, including knowledge and experience of programming e.g. in Python.
- Proven experience in applying modelling, simulation and optimisation (particularly multi-objective) techniques to analyse complex problems and support decision-making.
- Knowledge of data visualisation for creating clear and intuitive representations of complex results.
- Credible and confident to be an effective ambassador for a cultural change.
- Capacity to become a strong project manager, taking on the leadership of a strategic innovation project.
- Applicants must be able to pass Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV) police vetting to work on this project, which includes an existing right to work in the UK and at least 3 year's residency in the UK prior to your application. Further information can be found here:
