This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Head Housekeeper to join the team at Chestnut View Care Home, a highly-rated 60-bed residential, nursing, and dementia care facility in Haslemere, Surrey. As the Head Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and infection prevention control throughout the home, leading a team of housekeeping staff to ensure a warm and inviting environment for the residents.Main duties of the jobAs the Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily cleaning and maintenance of the care home, ensuring that all areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You will lead a team of housekeeping staff, providing training, supervision, and support to ensure that the team delivers exceptional service. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust infection prevention control measures, working closely with the clinical team to safeguard the health and wellbeing of the residents.
