You'll be part of a well-established, reputable local business with a great culture, structured development, and strong mentoring.🔍 What You'll Be DoingReporting to the Accounts Supervisor, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our busy finance team, including:
- 💼 Event Billing: Liaising with event managers and clients to ensure accurate invoicing
- 🧾 Purchase Ledger: Processing supplier invoices, payments, and account reconciliations
- 📦 Stock Control: Assisting with month-end inventory counts for food and beverage cost tracking
- 💰 Sales Ledger & Credit Control: Managing outstanding debt and client account reconciliations
- 🧮 Bank & Payment Reconciliations: Monitoring and reconciling all payment channels and bank accounts
- 📊 Income Audit: Daily revenue reporting across multiple revenue streams
- Ambitious and eager to learn, with a genuine interest in progressing within accounts
- Organised, reliable, and proactive with excellent attention to detail
- A confident communicator with a collaborative approach to working within a team
- Comfortable working with Excel and accounting systems (experience is a plus, but not essential)
- Ideally studying or interested in studying AAT (support available)
- Clear and supported career progression into an Assistant Management Accountant role
- Hands-on exposure to a wide range of accounting functions
