– Perform routine and specialised tests such as urine analysis, routine and priority swabs, blood cultures, urgent fluids, and enteric PCR.
– Maintain and operate a variety of laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
– Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide accurate and timely results to healthcare providers.
– Engage in problem-solving and troubleshooting to optimise laboratory processes and outcomes.
– Stay updated with the latest advancements in microbiology and incorporate new techniques where applicable.To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have HCPC registration and a relevant qualification in biomedical science or an equivalent.
