- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering relevant financial data, analyzing trends, and preparing reports for review.
- Fixed asset maintaning
- Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and budgeted figures, providing insights and recommendations to management.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and provide support for business decision-making.
- Assist in the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Support the year-end audit process by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and assisting auditors with inquirie
- Part-qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) or willingness to pursue professional certification.
- Prior experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within the FMCG industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (ideally Oracle).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
