- Maintaining, developing, and reviewing the Technical / Quality Plan to meet BRC standards and customer needs.
- Developing and implementing Technical procedures, risk assessments, and compliance systems.
- Leading internal, external, customer, and supplier audits, ensuring audit readiness and Technical excellence.
- Communicating effectively with senior customers and stakeholders on audits, compliance, investigations, and continuous improvement.
- Coaching and supporting the Technical team, ensuring success by aligning them with the wider Technical Strategy.
- Building strong relationships with senior leadership and external partners, influencing decisions at all levels.
- Experience of working with bakery and / or chilled prepared foods within a fast- paced Food Manufacturing site
- Ideally a degree in Food Science, Lead Auditor qualification, HACCP Level 4 and Food Safety Level 3
- Experience of working in a Senior Technical Manager / Head of Technical role within a BRC accredited site, supplying Major Retailers
- Proven track record in leading Technical teams with excellent interpersonal, motivational, and influencing skills
- Strong experience working with Major Retailers and knowledge of BRC standards
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical capability, with the ability to make strategic decisions
- Multi-site Food Manufacturer
- Supplying high quality products to a wide range of customers including Major Retailers
