We also support flexible and hybrid working - if it works, we'll make it happen. .Brief DescriptionYou will support the Section Manager and their wider team to provide an efficient and effective general administrative and secretarial support service. You'll provide technical input and maintain relevant records as required, organising and attending meetings, taking notes, preparing presentations and much more - every day will be different!About the role (External)Every day will be different, but you can expect to be involved in the following activities:You will be responsible for a variety of administrative and support tasks, including managing rosters and timesheets, coordinating PPE requirements, accurately updating systems and databases, and maintaining an organised and efficient filing systems for the department.Additionally, you will assist with the administration of the Assessment in the Line process and provide general office support to the Section Manager, utilising a broad range of knowledge and skills to ensure effective and efficient operations.In order to be successful in this role, we would like you to have/to be:· Experience of clerical support and office management· Excellent time manager· Knowledge of relevant IT systems· Ability to work on own initiative· Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisation skillsWe would also like but it isn't crucial to have/to be:· Knowledge of operational railway environmentHow to apply (External)We are a Disability Confident Leader and want to make the most of the skills and talents disabled people bring to the workplace - skills and talents we need in our businessSalary and benefits:· Salary: Starting at £23,758 but negotiable depending on experience.
