Fabricator Welder – 3 months contract – Walsall – Start 23/6/2025 - £20 per hourOn behalf of a premier client, we are seeking a skilled Fabricator Welder for a three-month contract based at their production facility in Walsall. The role involves working Monday to Friday with a pay rate of £20 per hour under an umbrella scheme.The ideal candidate will have experience in fabrication and welding, particularly in medium to heavy-duty steel products.Responsibilities include reading and interpreting technical drawings, cutting, tacking, welding, and drilling materials as specified. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation for all materials and ensuring quality standards are met.An overhead crane certification is desirable for this role. You will be working as part of the fabrications operations team, providing full operational support to all areas of the business.Skills:
- Overhead crane certification
- Experience in fabrication and welding of medium to heavy-duty steel
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Attention to detail and adherence to procedures
- Proficient in MIG and TIG welding
- Experience with cutting and drilling materials
- Ability to work well within a team
- Good communication skills
- Experience in operating workshop machinery and tools
- Experience with quality inspection and assurance processes
