
Media Relations Manager (World Weather Attribution and Grantham Institute)

- Closely collaborate with the WWA team to develop the team's communication strategy
- Provide high-quality press materials for WWA attribution studies and Grantham research, including organising and hosting press briefings, responding to media requests, using social media, providing graphics
- Develop and commission digital creative content, such as data visualisations, infographics and video
- Develop and deliver impactful social media content and manage WWA's twitter channel and website
- Develop and deliver strategies to engage other priority audiences as identified by the WWA team
- Demonstratable interest in climate change and the environment
- Ability to explain complicated scientific topics to journalists, in a clear, accurate and timely manner
- Experience of delivering media briefing events
- In-depth working knowledge of traditional media and/or the channels, methods, systems and procedures associated with the delivery of a digital communications projects, including websites and social media
