
Assistant Underwriter, Casualty

- Assist in the underwriting and processing of new and renewable Casualty business in line with our underwriting appetite, authority limits and business plan.
- To work in conjunction with the team ensure efficient working practices are in place and adhered to as per established package underwriting guidelines
- Support the underwriting team through liaison with and participation at meetings with brokers and internal stakeholders
- To provide assistance to UKI Management for building, running and monitoring exposure reports
- To meet company standards in respect of policy documentation, timeframe for quoting new and renewal business and compliance issues.
- To work within the framework of the Chubb Code of Conduct, Compliance policies, Peer Review and within the framework of the protocols established by the Company
- Experience in the insurance market is required
- You will need to demonstrate a practical and common sense approach to dealing with differing situations and an ability to tackle problems often against tight timeframes
- Interest in Multinational programs
- Minimum A level standard.
- Competent in Microsoft Office.
- Expected to undertake “on the job” training. This may involve working in other Chubb offices
