- Leading the implementation and maintenance of quality systems across the organisation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards.
- Leading the internal audit process and coordinating external audits to ensure compliance with ISO and RISQS standards.
- Managing and reporting on key quality metrics including Process Quality and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Corrective Action Reports (CARs) and leading root cause analysis and corrective action processes to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence. (NCC)
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed quality into project lifecycles and operational workflows.
- Supporting Supplier Quality Management (SQM) to ensure supplier compliance and reduce supplier-related non-conformances.
- Providing training and guidance to internal teams on quality standards, tools, and best practices.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to reduce operational costs and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Owning and managing the Rolling Stock / Customer Services / Edinburgh Trams BMS application.
- Proven experience in Quality Management within a regulated industry.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards and audit processes.
- Experience with Business Management Systems and Quality Management in Projects (QMiP).
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
- Familiarity with tools such as 8D, FMEA, and root cause analysis.

- Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Be proficient in quality management software and reporting tools.
- Have experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
