You will play a crucial role in supporting children and families through effective, meaningful interventions that create lasting impact.Key Benefits and PerksFlexible Working Patterns: Choose from full-time or part-time hours to suit your lifestyle.Hybrid Working Model: Work both remotely and from Milton Keynes Council Civic Offices, with only 2–3 days per week required on site.Ongoing Professional Development: Access continuous training to enhance your skills and advance your career.Community Engagement: Work within a diverse, friendly, and supportive community that values collaboration and shared purpose.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a diverse caseload of up to 19 children and young people across Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children plans.Conduct comprehensive assessments, including Children and Families, Risk, Parenting, and Sibling Assessments, to develop tailored care plans.Represent the Local Authority in court, including the preparation of detailed court statements and the provision of key evidence.Lead and participate in Child in Need and Core Group meetings, contributing to multidisciplinary assessments and planning.Provide support to the team in fulfilling duty responsibilities, ensuring consistent high standards of service delivery.Experience and QualificationsQualified Social Worker with a minimum of two years’ post-qualifying experience or equivalent transferable expertise.
