- To carry out routine planned maintenance, servicing and breakdown repairs of Getinge equipment, on customer sites.
- To carry out routine validation`s on Getinge and other 3rd party equipment. The validation criteria shall meet our customers expectations.
- To investigate electrical & mechanical fault finding of equipment.
- P&ID`s need to be understood in order to work through breakdowns.
- Carry out calibration activites on a range of Life Science equipment.
- To promote upgrade campaigns and be part of the project integration from start to completion.
- Actively seek to upsell, cross sell and promote Getinge's portfolio; Capital equipment, consumables when the opportunity arises.
- To deliver OEM training to customers if required.
- To provide onsite evaluations and reports for prospective opportunities.
- To provide telephone technical support to customers as and when practical.
- To attend meetings with the Life Science Service manager gathering feedback on performance and future success.
- To organise and prioritise a continuously changing workload, ensuring that all customers' calls and enquiries are replied to.
- To work in conjunction with the service Coordinators / team leads to ensure efficient coverage of customers sites and maintaining Getinge`s reputation for professional fast responses. Communication must be maintained with the service team, line manager
- City & Guilds Levels 1 & 2 or an equivalent qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering.
- CSCS (Service & Facilities) HVACR Skills Card.
- HTM2030 / HTM 2031 or HTM2010 certification (desirable)
- Previous experience in a field service role, or maintenance environment ideally within a medical, pharmaceutical or other process industry.
- Flexible and able to adapt under pressure in a dynamic and changing environment.
- Genuine interest in people and be able to deal with customers in a friendly manner.
