As a Paralegal in the Crown Court team, you'll be working alongside some of the most respected Solicitors and Barristers in the country, supporting on a broad caseload of serious criminal defence matters.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting solicitors with case preparation and trial work.
- Liaising with counsel, courts, witnesses, and third parties.
- Taking client instructions and assisting in progressing cases.
- Exposure to novel and complex legal issues.
- Building the foundations for a successful career in criminal defence.
We're seeking motivated, enthusiastic individuals with a genuine passion for criminal law.
- A strong academic background is essential.
- LPC, BPTC completed (or SQE in progress) is highly desirable.
- Previous legal experience, ideally within criminal law, is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A flexible, team-oriented approach.
