Protocol Education is supporting a secondary school in West London to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant.This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to make a real difference in students’ learning, support their academic and personal development, and contribute to both classroom and extracurricular life within a supportive and high-achieving school community.About the RoleSupport learning for students through structured academic interventions and one-to-one or small group teachingAssist pupils with special educational needs, including English as an additional language, social-emotional development, and academic skills across core subjectsDeliver sessions to support reading, writing, maths, and other areas of student developmentContribute to enrichment activities, homework clubs, and school events, including trips, performances, and extracurricular programsMonitor and record pupil progress, supporting teachers and leadership with data collection and intervention trackingCreate a positive, calm, and orderly learning environment, promoting high academic and behavioural expectationsCollaborate with colleagues, SENCOs, and external professionals to ensure tailored support for individual studentsUphold safeguarding standards and actively promote the safety and welfare of all pupilsRole DetailsLocation: West LondonContract: Full-time, permanent, term-time onlyWorking Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00Start Date: September 2025Salary: £22,515–£27,272 depending on experienceWhat We’re Looking ForDegree-level qualificationRight to work in the UKExperience building positive and effective relationships with young peopleStrong literacy, numeracy, and organisational skillsExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with children, staff, and parentsCommitment to high standards of pupil behaviour and achievementExperience planning and delivering small group or one-to-one interventions (desirable)Self-motivated, resilient, and dedicated to professional developmentWillingness to contribute to extracurricular activities, school trips, and enrichment programsA genuine belief in the potential of every student✨ If you are an enthusiastic and committed Graduate Teaching Assistant who thrives on supporting students to reach their full potential, we’d love to hear from you.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
