- Provide full lifecycle project management of design and construction projects within the Oxford portfolio.
- Ensure compliance with NEC contract requirements, including communication protocols, early warnings, compensation events, and change control.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk registers, programmes, budgets, and audit documentation.
- Act as the primary point of accountability for project delivery, ensuring consistency, quality, and on-time completion.
- Support the mentoring and development of existing project staff (e.g., Project Coordinator), enabling succession planning.
- Ensure all activities adhere to relevant health and safety legislation, including CDM Regulations.
- Lead project and contract meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Drive standardization in delivery practices across the Oxford programme.
- Contribute to planning for operational expansion, including resourcing and scalability.
- Substantial experience in project management.
- Proven experience managing projects under NEC contracts (NEC3 or NEC4).
- Recognized project management qualification: PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM PMQ, or PMP.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior team members.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel).
- High level of commercial awareness and contract administration proficiency.
- Working knowledge of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM).
- Experience standardizing processes across multiple projects or programmes.
- Understanding of public sector project delivery or multi-client environments.
- Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
