This role is crucial within the Project Delivery team, focusing on substation and infrastructure projects, renewable energy projects, Contestable Connections, and Private Network installations across the UK.Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation of LV/HV substation equipment
  • Installation of multicore cables and associated equipment for protection and control systems
  • HV cable installation including jointing
  • Transformer tails/terminations
  • Supporting commissioning activity on new build projects
  • Small/panel wiring
  • Small power and lighting
  • LV electrical testing
  • Installation of earthing and associated equipment
  • Adhering to company rules, health and safety, and environmental standards and practices
  • Working as part of a team
  • Attending training and continuous development opportunities
  • Promoting a positive company image to clients
Job Requirements:
  • Cable Jointer Trained and experience up to 11kv/33kv
  • Pasma, working at heights
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel UK wide
  • Willingness or skilled to carry out Technician duties such as Wiring, cable installation and terminations
  • SHEA Power
Benefits:
  • Paying up to £45,000 per annum
  • Monday to Friday 40hrs per week
  • Overtime available and inflated rates after 6pm and Weekend / Bank Holidays
