We're a signatory of the Women in Finance and the Race at Work Charter and we're Disability Confident Committed.What does the role involve?This is an office based role where you'll be working within a team of 12 who manage and oversee the entire build process for our more specialist vehicles (from LCV's converted for business use to HGV's with ancillary equipment). From the initial order through to receipt to delivery, you'll ensure all steps of the build management are completed efficiently and accurately by our suppliers, maintaining strong day-to-day relationships with manufacturers, dealers, converters, and ancillary suppliers.Some of your key duties will include:
  • Ensuring vehicles are ordered and built in-line with agreed specification, on time and are fit for purpose
  • Implementing, running and managing weekly calls with all dealers/converters/ancillary suppliers for your build portfolio to allow for accurate scheduling
  • Setting and maintaining clear milestones, actions and accountability for each build including management/reporting of slippage and overall performance of converters
  • Collaboration and communication with internal departments to ensure workflows
What are we looking for?To be considered for this role you'll join us with experience of managing complex workflows within a corporate environment. You'll be comfortable coordinating the work of multiple stakeholders, and where appropriate challenge suppliers, holding them to account for their role in the vehicle build process in order to achieve deadlines.Also, we're looking for the following:
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Analytical with high attention to detail
  • Superb organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise a portfolio of vehicle builds
  • A background within the automotive industry / vehicle build management would be highly advantageous however not essential
