In this role of Classroom Assistant, you will support teachers and pupils, helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.Responsibilities as a Classroom Assistant:
  • Provide support to pupils in the classroom, individually or in small groups.
  • Assist with learning activities, interventions, and classroom tasks.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and pupil engagement.
  • Work closely with teachers to support pupils’ learning and development.
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and nurturing school environment.
Requirements for Classroom Assistant:
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Patience, resilience, and a proactive attitude when supporting pupils.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps clearly explained.
