*Assist teachers in delivering adapted lessons that meet individual learning styles and needs, ensuring accessibility and engagement for all students.
*Work closely with the SENCO and multidisciplinary teams to contribute to the development and delivery of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
*Help create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes confidence, independence, and participation.
*Use effective differentiation and positive behaviour management strategies to support students' academic progress and emotional wellbeing.
*Support students with personal care and mobility needs, where required.Requirements*Prior experience supporting children or young people with SEND, preferably within a school or specialist education setting.
*A strong understanding of inclusive educational practices and strategies, including differentiation, behaviour support, and alternative communication systems (e.g., PECS, Makaton).
*A caring, patient, and proactive attitude, with a genuine commitment to supporting the holistic development of each student.
*Excellent interpersonal and teamworking skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and external professionals.
