This exciting and challenging role provides the opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join the Somerset Foundation Trust IT Services Desktop Support Team in Somerset.The role will be responsible for leading, supervising and allocating work for a team of specialist IT technicians. The post holder is responsible for ensuring that a high-quality IT support service is provided to all users of trust systems, in accordance with defined policies, procedures and service level agreements. The post holder will also on occasions deputise for the IT Support Manager.Main duties of the jobResponsible for leading, supervising and allocating work for a team of specialist IT technicians.Assist in the planning and delivery of major IT Project implementationsThe postholder is responsible for ensuring that a high quality IT support service is provided to all users of trust systems, in accordance with defined policies, procedures and service level agreements.
