Field Service EngineerIndustrial SectorSouth YorkshireDaysUp to £50,000We are currently seeking a skilled and self-motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team, providing high-quality service and support to industrial clients across South Yorkshire. This is a day-shift role offering a competitive salary of up to £50,000, plus company benefits and a service vehicle.The Role:As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
  • Performing planned maintenance, servicing, and breakdown repairs on industrial equipment (CNC) at client sites
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, ensuring minimal downtime
  • Providing technical support and excellent customer service on-site
  • Maintaining accurate service records and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
  • Covering a regional patch across South Yorkshire with occasional travel beyond as needed
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience in a field-based engineering role within the industrial sector (e.g. manufacturing, plant, machinery, or automation)
  • Strong diagnostic skills across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
