The school provides a supportive, nurturing environment where pupils are encouraged to develop emotionally, socially, and academically.About the Role:As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality support both in and out of the classroom. You will:Assist with the preparation and delivery of engaging, differentiated learning activitiesSupport students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping to meet their individual needsPromote positive behaviour and provide emotional regulation supportWork closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral teams to ensure a consistent, person-centred approachEncourage pupils to develop confidence, independence, and social skillsContribute to a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environmentWho We're Looking For:Previous experience working with children or young people (especially those with SEN or SEMH)A patient, empathetic, and resilient natureAbility to build strong, positive relationships with students and colleaguesA flexible and proactive approach to supporting learningA commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of childrenDesirable (but not essential):Experience working in specialist or alternative education settingsUnderstanding of trauma-informed or therapeutic approaches
