FLT Driver – Multiple NeedsLocation: Desford
Salary: Initially £39,268, rising to £45,869 after 3 months
Shifts: 4 on 4 off – days and nightsImmediate StartThis well-established company in the Leicestershire area is seeking multiple FLT Drivers due to increased business demand. They are looking for motivated and reliable individuals who are eager to learn.   • Operate FLT safely and in accordance with training and company procedures
  • Load and unload vehicles with correct, high-quality product as per loading tickets
  • Check packaging and load safety; report or repair any damaged or sub-standard packs
  • Maintain accurate records including picking slips, load traceability, and lot numbers
  • Support production operations when not carrying out FLT duties
  • Offload deliveries and move materials to correct storage areas
  • Keep the yard area clean, tidy, and free from hazards at all times
  • Perform daily FLT and safety checks; report defects immediately
  • Follow LOTOTO, SOPs, and all health & safety procedures at all times
  • Contribute to shift handovers and collaborate effectively with team members
Candidate Requirements:
  • Valid FLT license (Counterbalance or equivalent) – Refresher course provided if necessary
  • Manufacturing, construction, or warehouse experience preferred
  • Strong awareness of safety procedures and hazard prevention
  • Willingness to assist with general production tasks as needed
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling
  • Able to pass a drugs and alcohol test
