My client is a multi brand, multi site accommodation provider and they are looking for a qualified Head of Finance to work on an interim basis whilst the incumbent goes on a sabbatical. The successful candidate will have multi site hotel/ accommodation experience.To provide strategic financial leadership and direction across the group, ensuring robust financial planning, analysis, and reporting to drive business growth and achieve strategic objectives. Establish and oversee the group's financial framework, ensuring strong governance, compliance, and performance management to maximize shareholder value and sustainable profitability. To be a trusted partner with the executive team and business leaders, providing insightful financial analysis and strategic recommendations to support key business decisions and drive overall group performance.Key ResponsibilitiesPeopleOversee the management of the day-to-day finance team operationsCoach and train your team to empower them day-to-day and help their growth & development in Lamington Group through objectives and personal development plansBuild resilience in the department by creating SOPs on best practicesProvide and ensure adequate coverage for operational fi nance departmentPlacesTo lead and direct the fi nance department partnering Operations partnering working well. Development partnering outstanding through the business in order to meet companies financial objectivesEnsure the production of monthly and quarterly decks of financial reports to Directors including, P&L, BS, Cashflows at a hotel, company and consolidated position. Monthly in, BS in, CF in, GM decks complete, SLT & board.Prepare board level financial reportsEnsure compliance of banking covenant reporting requirementsBuild strategic partnerships with GMs Yes, Heads of departments and Directors with data driven insights to meet group budgets and inform strategic planning and execution.Insights into the numbersLead annual budgeting process for the groupPartner with the property development team in order to ensure accurate accounting of development projectsConstantly review and recommend cost saving measuresReview for automations and efficiencies within the department to streamline processes and manual tasksConstantly review controls and processes in order to ensure an effective control environment for accurate reportingProvide management and training to the finance teamManage the annual audit and relationship with the auditors
