- Plan and organise your workload on a day-to-day basis.
- Collaborate with GPs, fellow nurses, and the client's healthcare team, referring to a GP when needed.
- Provide treatment for client employees with minor injuries and illnesses, including appropriate referrals.
- Manage your own clinical case load with presenting patients’ needs in a primary care setting.
- Develop care plans and manage specific conditions following professional protocols and guidelines, such as those for travel health and family planning.
- Participate in primary care audits and contribute to staff training and development.
- Support IPC compliance across the corporate client sites.
- Play an active role in the Infection Control team, supporting patients and colleagues in maintaining sound infection control measures.
- Strong customer care skills and the ability to be an effective team player.
- A flexible attitude to meet the needs of the department and business.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- A "can-do" attitude with a friendly and approachable persona.
- The ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
- An understanding of the demands of private patients in a business environment.
- Knowledge of clinical governance and safeguarding.
- RGN qualification with current NMC Registration.
- Completion of STIP course or equivalent.
- Experience working with PGD's is advantageous.
